are made from denim pants and shirts. They have the buttons and zippers removed and the legs or sleeves are cut open and then cut to rags. They are a heavy weight, extra strong wiping rag. Great for tough industrial applications were a strong, economical recycled shop rags is needed. Denim rags have low lint and have low to medium absorbency, however they are useful in helping to insulate for high heat situations such as welding, iron or metal fabrication, roofing installation and other tough industrial manufacturing uses. So if you need a shop rag that gives you good grip and that won’t tear or for general wiping in extreme, heavy duty environments.
